COMMUNITY HANGINGS

In the October 2003 issue of The Record we asked members to provide information about embroidered or quilted community hangings they may have worked on or know about. They may have been worked for hospitals, churches, council buildings, libraries, retirement homes, schools or any other number of projects. It is intended to highlight these pieces of community textile art in various 2004 issues of The Record and to do so we are dependent upon our members providing details.

Don't assume someone else will tell us, they usually don't, so it is up to you to do so.
Please forward as much information as you can about individual hangings to the Secretary, Chris Selley, at Headquarters. A photograph would be greatly appreciated.
